# Admin dashboard

> The color, logo and icon of the dashboard you and your team use every day, and where to change each one. Students do not see any of it.

The admin dashboard is where you and your team work. In **Settings > Admin dashboard** you give it your brand's look: the accent color, the logo and the collapsed-menu icon. None of this changes the student area; it has its own screen, [Student area](https://help.cademi.cloud/en/configuracoes/area-do-aluno.md).

## What you can change

The screen has a single panel, **Dashboard identity**, with three rows:

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Accent color** | Changes the buttons, the links, the active menu items and other accent elements of the dashboard |
| **Dashboard logo** | The logo in the dashboard navigation. Horizontal version, no transparent margins. It shows 35 px tall. PNG, 350x100, up to 600 kb |
| **Collapsed-menu icon** | The icon shown when the dashboard's side menu is collapsed. Square PNG, 64x64, up to 300 kb |

These choices apply to every administrator of the account.

## Step by step

1. In the dashboard, open **Settings > Admin dashboard**.
2. In **Accent color**, pick the color.
3. In **Dashboard logo**, upload the image.
4. In **Collapsed-menu icon**, upload the icon, if you want one different from the favicon.
5. Click **Save now** in the footer bar.

The dashboard reloads to apply the new identity. The notice at the top of the screen says so. To take out an uploaded image, click **Remove** below it.

## Good to know

- **With no icon, the favicon applies.** With no upload in **Collapsed-menu icon**, the dashboard uses the student area's **Favicon**. With no favicon, it uses Cademí's default icon.
- **Dashboard logo and student-area logo are different images.** The dashboard one shows only to the team, in the dashboard navigation. The student-area one is uploaded in **Settings > Student area > Appearance**.
- **The change applies right away for everyone.** Other administrators see the new identity when they reload the dashboard.
